To assist parents using our nursery, CE has hired a permanent nursery attendant beginning 3/7/10.  We are fortunate to have a familiar face with Karyn Tippenhauer, our Administrative Assistant, filling this new position.  Karyn is the mother of 3 children ages 10, 13, and 15.

Professionally, Karyn has 3 years of experience working with children in our school systems, and professional references in private child care.  The school is also providing the state background check.

She will be in our nursery from 9:15 to 12:30 during the school year and from 9:45 to 11:30 during the summer to care for children from newborn to age 5.  There will be a member volunteer scheduled to work with her each week as well as an “on-call” volunteer for busy days.

We will be posting more information about Karyn on the door of the nursery and will have that information available in the narthex.  We want parents to be comfortable knowing their children are with a familiar person each week while ensuring that our young children have the stability of a consistent care giver.
